Luke Atwood was the son of Jason Atwood. He was kidnapped by Brooke Mathison, who forced his father to falsely confess to the murder of Majid Nassar in return for Luke's safety. Unfortunately, she did not hold up her end of the bargain, and Luke's body was found near a river.
