Dax Minter also known as "Gamine", is an electric car manufacturer and anti-government hacker. He offered a job to Seth at the beginning of Season 2. Minter ended up being responsible for hacking into the NSA, disabling the Washington D.C. Power Grid which caused subsequent riots, causing a rocket delivering food and water to astronauts to explode and releasing a video of President Kirkman confronting the man who ran his truck onto Alex Kirkman's motorcade.
Minter gifted a model car to the President which had a secret listening device that he used to leak the confidential notes of the President's therapist and further undermine the Kirkman administration. Dax Minter claims that he committed the cyber attacks because he believes in little government interference in business and that Americans had the "right to be left alone". After his identity was uncovered, he was promptly arrested by the FBI. Along with his arrest, the Secret Service found an eavesdropping device in Tom Kirkman's office, which lead to both his arrest & Hannah Wells's fake termination.
