Al-Sakar is an Algerian-based terrorist group that was led by Majid Nassar. They, along with Nassar, claimed responsibility for attacks they didn't carry out, including the Capitol bombing. However, the latter was only meant to divert attention away from the real perpetrators, the True Believers.
Nevertheless, after Al-Sakar's video was leaked to the public, a shooter was inspired to fire rounds at the White House before being killed by Mike Ritter.[1]
